Vert was designed to be your escape from the city while providing ample access to venture out and explore. Based on the premise that people want—and need—a connection to nature. Vibrant colors and earthy textures bring the outside in, while offering a range of outdoor activities within our community. With a deep focus on sustainability and wellness, Vert offers a healthy environment—not only for you, but for the planet.
Our “extras” don’t stop with spaces throughout the building. Our residents enjoy complimentary and refillable non-toxic cleaning supplies, a full calendar of curated community events, an expanded recycling program, a seasonal community herb garden, secure bike storage, and so much more.
Expanded Recycling Program – Step aside paper and plastic, at Vert residents can enjoy an expanded recycling program including options to recycle paper, glass, plastic, aluminum, and cardboard.
Community Programming – At Vert, having fun and sustainability go hand-in-hand. Vert makes sure to use recyclable and biodegradable materials at each of our thoughtfully curated events.
Secure Bike Storage – Vert offers secure storage and maintenance stations to keep your bike in top condition and your emissions low.
Green Cleaning Policy – Vert offers free green cleaning supplies to all residents. These products limit exposure to chemicals and dirt that might be hazardous to human or environmental health. All products used are non-toxic yet meet stringent viral safety requirements.
Purchasing and Waste Policy – Vert sets targets to reduce the environmental impact from materials we purchase, use, and dispose of during operations. These are managed and tracked in three main areas
- Site Management – We encourage environmentally sensitive practices around snow removal, maintenance equipment, organic waste management, fertilizer usage, and irrigation management.
- Pest Management – Minimizes the impact of site management practices on the local ecosystem.
- Facility Maintenance and Renovation – Vert works to reduce the environmental impacts associated with the materials purchased, installed, and disposed of during maintenance and renovation projects.
Club Room Reservations
Our Clubhouse is available to our tenants to reserve for private events. Our Clubhouse is available for reservations daily and can be reserved between 10:00am - 10:00pm. Reservations are available for a maximum of a 4-hour duration, including set up and clean up. Our Club Room Reservation Agreement must be completed, in addition to providing a $300 reservation fee, plus a $500 refundable deposit. Please make all payments out to Vert Apartments, payments must be submitted 72 hours before the booked date of the event. Please note that reservations must be made 7-days in advance, and all requests must be approved through our leasing office.
Checking out game equipment
For your enjoyment, we have several gaming options available such as Cornhole bean bags, and paddles/balls for ping pong. Please stop by our leasing office to check out the desired gaming equipment and return to the leasing office after use.

Fitness Center - Open 24/7
Security
Our security team patrols the building from 6pm–8am nightly. If you have an emergency, or see something suspicious, please report it to the local police department at (877) 275-5273. If you are experiencing an emergency please dial 911.
Guest Access
Vert uses ButterflyMX to help guests contact you easily. After signing into the app, please adjust your notification settings to ensure your guests are able to reach you. You can choose to take calls through either the mobile app or through a telephone call. For further instructions, please see below:
Option 1: Mobile App
Calls that come through the app will be video calls. You can also use the app to open the
door. If you miss a call from the app, it will roll over as a phone call to the phone number on
your account.
Important: Select “Mobile app” in the dropdown menu for “Contact preference”
if you plan to use the app on an Android. On iOS, you can choose “Video Call,” “Phone Call,” or “Notification.”
Option 2: Phone Calls
Using this option, calls from the intercom will come in as a regular phone call. After you
accept the call, you can open the door by dialing “9.”
Mail + Delivery and Packages
Our mail room is located in the lobby. Use the small mail key provided at move-in to check your mailbox. If you will be gone for an extended period of time, please complete a hold request through the Post Office.
Packages will be delivered to the Luxer One lockers or your mailbox. You may register for the lockers at https://app.luxerone.com/login . If you are unable to pick up your package in a timely manner, please contact the office.
Garbage + Recycling
Two designated chutes for Garbage and Recycling are located in each trash room on each floor of the Community.
Recycling options include plastics, paper, cardboard, aluminum, and glass. Please be sure to break down all cardboard before placing it into the recycling chute, or bring it to the trash room dumpster located next to our back elevators on the G level parking garage.
For bulk items such as couches, tables and mattresses, please contact our leasing office to schedule a bulk pick up.
Green Cleaning
Vert uses non-toxic cleaning supplies for building-wide cleaning. We also provide you with green cleaning supplies upon move-in. Please visit the office to redeem free refills.
We also encourage you to use laundry and dishwasher detergent that is eco-friendly; and please only use laundry detergent with the “HE” symbol to avoid over-sudsing—our high efficiency washers require less detergent than most.
Maintenance requests
Maintenance assistance is easy through our resident portal, Active Building, which you can access from your smartphone, tablet or computer. Except in emergencies, staff will address maintenance requests in the order they are received. In the event of an emergency (flood, gas leak, loss of power, or water) we ask that you call in your requests to 818-312-4601 so they can be addressed immediately.
Pets
Vert is a pet-friendly community. When times get muddy, there is a dog washing station located in the dog run outside. As a reminder, please be considerate of others and make sure to clean up after your pet and always use a leash outside of your apartment.
Bike Storage and Maintenance
Our Bike room is located on the ground level garage, near the leasing office entrance. If you need assistance locating the Bike room, please contact our office and we would be happy to show you where to store your bike(s).
Please register your bike(s) with the office and remember to lock your bike for extra security.
Public Transit +& Car Share
Only a short walk away, the Metro Canoga Park De Soto station is located on Victory Boulevard. This station is along the G Line of the Los Angeles Metro Busway System which parallels a section of the Orange Line.
Car Parking +& EV Charging
One complimentary spot included in your lease (2 for a two bedroom) is located in our assigned parking lot.
Should you have additional vehicles, please contact the office to review available parking options. In addition to the parking included in your lease, street parking is available on Variel Ave and city permits are not required.
